Company Structure

Baptist Village Baxter Ltd, trading as The Village Baxter is a company limited by guarantee (CLG). A CLG is a type of company structure that is commonly used by non-profit organizations, charities, and other organizations that are not-for-profit. In this type of company, the liability of the members (Directors) is limited and they do not have personal financial risk in the company. The members of a CLG do not receive dividends or share in the company's profits, as the company's purpose is not to make a profit but to provide a service. It's important to note that CLG's are required to follow the same regulations and laws as other types of companies. Meet our CEO and Managers

  • Kim Jackson, Chief Executive Officer

    Kim is a Registered Nurse and an Accountant. Kim has a Bachelor of Nursing from Monash University, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a speciality in Accounting from Southern Cross University, and certificates in Strategy and Finance from Harvard Business School. Kim has been part of our nursing team since 2000, our management team since 2001 and our CEO since 2020. Kim is also the Public Officer and Company Secretary for our governing body, Baptist Village Baxter .

  • Bridget Robinson, Director of Clinical Services (DON)

    Bridget is a Registered Nurse and Accredited Infection Control Lead. Bridget provides clinical advice and leadership across all of our services Bridget’s team of 127 Manor Staff provide Clinical and Personal Care, Allied health care, Lifestyle support, Catering and Housekeeping and Laundry services to our 64 Manor Residents. Bridget has been part of our team since 2017.

  • Megan May, Business Manager

    Megan has Certificate 4 in Accounting and Bookkeeping and has worked as a Village Manager and the Administrator of her family business for approximately 13 years. Megan also has completed a Diploma in Aged Care and has worked in Aged Care for over 15 years over a range of Aged Care fields. Megan oversees our team of Finance and Admin Reception Staff. Megan has been part of our team since 2021.

  • Kim Male, Community Services Manager

    Kim has a Certificate 4 in Service Coordination (Aged & Disability) and 16 years’ experience working in our Community Care department. Kim’s team of 71 Community Care staff provides personal care, domestic support and light gardening services throughout the Greater Frankston and Mornington Peninsula areas. Kim has been a part of our team since 2005.

  • Dawn Tanner, Village Manager

    Dawn is our Village Manager at our Frankston South Retirement Village site. Dawn’s background includes Retirement Living, Aged Care and Business. Dawn has qualifications in Management, Life Coaching and is also a licensed Real Estate Agent. Dawn manages the day-to-day operations of our Retirement Living Village at Village Baxter and supports a team of 18 staff including Village Nurses and Reception / Activities staff in the Community Centers. Dawn has been part of our team since 2022.

  • Vickie Nolan, Sales Manager

    Vickie is our Sales Manager at Village Baxter. Vickie combines her background and experience in Real Estate, Administration and Nursing as she supports new and upcoming Village Residents through the application, waiting list and unit sales processes at our Village Baxter site. Vickie has been part of our team since 2011. 

  • Mark Henderson, Maintenance Manager

    Mark is our Maintenance Manager at the Frankston South site. Steve and his team of Maintenance, garden, and lawn mowing staff ensure that our Village is safe and well maintained. Mark has been part of our team since 2023.

  • Shane Filius, Buildings Manager

    Shane is our Buildings Manager at the Frankston South site and responsible for our proactive and preventative maintenance as well as our major works and refurbishment. Shane and his team of Refurbishment staff ensure that our Village Buildings are safe and well maintained. Shane has been part of our team since 2024.

  • Karlene Gibson, Rosebud Manager

    Karlene is our Village Manager at our Rosebud Retirement Village. Karlene’s background includes Property Operations, Management, paralegal work, consulting and conveyancing. Karlene has qualifications in Frontline Management. Karlene manages the day-to-day operations of our Retirement Living Village at Rosebud and supports a team of 6 staff including Village Nurses, Maintenance and Reception staff. Karlene has been part of our team since 2023.
