Day Centre - Friendship Club

The Friendship Club provides an environment to stimulate social and recreational skills in older people that are living in Frankston and the surrounding areas. Sessions run in the Club from Monday to Saturday (inclusive), and are focussed on two client groups -

Those suffering from dementia or memory-related illness

Those physically frail or dependent

Referrals to the Club are usually made from the client's doctor, however appointments, enquiries and bookings can be made by those caring for a family member. The weekly program is designed around the special needs of each client and will usually involve some fun activities, some mental stimulation and some friendship.
